Setting up and using Adwords
Now that our little conference / event mobile application Eventbird is up and running, I'm responsible for driving the digital sales / marketing, which to clarify includes both social media and search. So first things first, where can we get the greatest bang-for-our-buck? Well I figure Adwords has to be a great starting point for us. How I got to this conclusion is basically by looking at our target market - conferences and events of a technical nature. The organizers and participants of which are more likely to search for providers of a mobile app than go onto social networks like Facebook to ask for advice. That's my theory anyway and I have to start somewhere. So armed with a couple dollars in my adwords account I'm ready to do a little deep diving into the dark and mysterious world of Google Adwords - First step Adwords for Dummies - Kindle Edition. Figure, before I blow my inheritance I should at least do some reading on Adwords to give me some understanding of how this part of the world works. Let the fun begin!
